Alan Joined Dare in April 2010, and heads up the Standard Life, Barclays and Barclaycard accounts. Previously at WPP agencies, Alan spent 5 years heading up the HSBC global digital account. Working with partners JWT, 141 and Mindshare as Team HSBC he was tasked with producing digital campaigns for the brand and multitude of financial products.
Alan originally joined Black Cat in 1999, which was later acquired by JWT and merged with RMG to form RMG Connect. Originally working on a split of sales promotion and direct marketing clients, he worked on the BAA owned Airport Express brand and was integral to the launch campaigns for Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express and Stansted Express, growing passenger numbers by 40%. Other major clients included ntl, Pfizer and Credit Suisse.
Alan started his career at WWAV working on their largest account Grattan/Look Again, the direct shopping brand and also Barclays Bank. It was there that he gained a solid grounding in direct response marketing.
