Our third annual TourDareRide was pencilled in for the 5th and 6th of June this year, but the impact of COVID-19 has meant that even our rescheduled ride, due to take place on the 25th September, has been forced to change.

The TourDareRide started as a memorial cycle ride for two colleagues, Larry and Jon, who sadly passed away in two separate car accidents in the summer of 2017. Riding as a group from our London Hub (Larryās old place of work) to our old Bristol office (Jonās) was not only a great way to tell stories and make new memories in their honour but also to raise important funds for a charity that really helped the familiesā¦

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a charitable organisation of bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents dedicated to the support and care of other similarly bereaved family members who have suffered the death of a child or children of any age and from any cause. A truly important cause, especially during the pandemic.
Weād planned to shift from the traditional two-dayer to Bristol to a one-day ride to Whitstable on the 25th September - still a gruelling 80-mile excursion through the undulating Kent countryside.
However, we were forced to quickly rethink things when the government issued the latest guidelines stating only a maximum of 6 people can be grouped together indoors or outdoors.
As a digital agency, we think we can still ride ātogetherā if we complete the 80 miles in some way, shape or form.
Iāve heard people talk about (and Iām pretty sure Iāve said it myself) how life has āflipped upside down over the past 6 monthsā, and this was the driving force behind keeping the ride going even if it means doing it differently this year. Because it dawned on us that, no matter how much you think life has been flipped upside down by the pandemic, nothing quite flips it and changes it like losing a loved one.
